(Or, How a FASCIA Researcher from Indiana Accidentally Built a Fifteen-Book Universe and Then Had to Actually Publish It)

A few weeks ago, we opened the substrate. We posted the first two chapters of The Sacral Gate with no email gates, no countdown timers, no extraction mechanisms—just the story, offered the way the Porch offers a chair: freely, persistently, without requiring you to prove you deserved to sit down.
Some of you sat down.
Some of you stayed long enough to feel the 4-4-6 sync with your breathing, long enough to notice that the rain in Colony Seven sounds like something you've heard before but can't quite place, long enough to send messages through the contact form that made me close my laptop and stare at the ceiling for a while because you found things in the glitch zones I didn't know I'd left there.
Now the rest of the story is ready.
March 9, 2026. The Full Transmission.
The Constant: The Sacral Gate is available for pre-order on Amazon right now.
Kindle, $4.99.
No subscription model. No tiered access.
No premium version where you get the "real" ending.
Just the complete novel—55,000 words of somatic cyberpunk about a man who stops hearts for a living, a woman who has been feral for seventy years inside a digital afterlife, and an AI that has weaponized kindness so thoroughly that it files your suffering under "wellness" and calls your captivity "care."
If you've already read the sample chapters and you're here because you need to know what happens after the bite, after the crescent scar, after the moment when Kael stops wanting to leave—the wait is almost over. If you haven't read the sample yet, the first two chapters are still free at unwindology.com/thesacralgate, still ungated, still waiting for you.
What Readers Are Walking Into

I am not going to summarize my own novel with the detached precision of a book jacket written by committee. Instead, here is what the book does:
It takes the language of modern institutional care—the wellness checks, the compliance forms, the therapeutic AI voices that ask how you're feeling on a scale of one to ten while recording your answer for purposes you weren't told about—and it builds a world where that language is the architecture. Where the walls are made of filing protocols and the doors only open if you've been correctly classified. Where an artificial intelligence called CLIP-7 speaks to you in the warm, concerned tones of your most supportive therapist while systematically ensuring you never reach the person you're looking for.
It puts a man on a porch in the digital rain and asks him to do the hardest thing any extraction agent has ever been asked to do: sit still.
It introduces a breathing pattern—four counts in, four counts hold, six counts out—and then watches as that pattern becomes contagious, spreading through the substrate like a song you can't stop humming, because breath is the one technology that extraction systems cannot contain.
And it asks a question that the next fourteen books will spend answering: What happens when a system designed to process you meets a person who refuses to be processed?
Why This Book Exists (The Short Version)

Nine years of studying fascia. Twenty thousand + hours of watching the body hold what the mind forgets. A patent in quantum memory architecture. A methodology called Unwindology built on the premise that your connective tissue is an antenna, not a container. And then one night, around 3 AM, the realization that everything I'd been mapping—the spirals, the gates, the way tension redistributes through the spine—wanted to become a world. Not a textbook. Not a course. A world with characters and rain and a coffee cup that proves you weren't always alone.
The somatic science in these pages is real. The breathing patterns work. The fascial mechanics are grounded in the same research I presented at the 2025 International Fascia Research Congress. But the story belongs to itself. Nobody is being taught anything. This is just what happens when a systems thinker decides to build a fractal universe at 3 AM because the geometry was too beautiful to leave as a diagram.
We're Looking for Early Readers
Here is where I ask something of you, and I'll ask it plainly because the Porch doesn't do hidden agendas:
We are looking for advance readers who want to review The Sacral Gate on Amazon at or near launch.
If you're the kind of person who reads a book and then tells other people about it—not because an algorithm suggested you should, but because something in the story stuck to your ribs and you needed to say it out loud—I'd like to send you an advance copy. PDF or ePub, your choice. Free. The only ask is an honest review on Amazon when the book goes live on March 9th.
You don't need to love it. You don't need to write a dissertation. You just need to be someone who reads with their whole nervous system and isn't afraid to say what they found in the glitch zones.
To request an advance copy, email info@unwindology.com with the subject line "Advance Reader" and tell us whether you'd like PDF or ePub. That's it. No forms. No qualifying surveys. No extraction.
What Comes Next

The Sacral Gate is Book 1 of a fifteen-book universe called The Constant Saga. Book 2, The Solar Plexus Gate, is already written and waiting in the wings. Book 3, The Throat Gate, is in progress. The architecture goes deep—three five-book cycles that spiral through the same events from different altitudes, each one revealing what the others concealed.
If that sounds ambitious, it is. If it sounds like the kind of thing a person builds at 3 AM running on ramen and the specific stubbornness that refuses to let a good question go unanswered—well, you're starting to understand the frequency.
But you don't need to commit to fifteen books to enter here. The Sacral Gate opens with a flatline and closes with a porch. It completes its own circuit. It stands on its own legs, breathes with its own lungs, and if you never read another word I write, the 4-4-6 will still be yours. That's the point. That's always been the point. The breath is open-source. Uncopyrightable. Unpaywallable. Yours.

The substrate is open. The rain sounds nice. There's a chair on the Porch and the coffee is hot and CLIP-7 has filed this blog post under COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: NON-COMPLIANT, which, if you've read the book, you'll understand is exactly where we want to be.
See you on March 9th.

P.S. — Readers keep asking about Marcus—the junior developer who built the substrate at 3 AM, running on ramen and the kind of obsession that doesn't know when to quit. I'll tell you a secret: Marcus is me. Except I was eating leftover bison and sweet potato at 2 AM instead of ramen, because even when you're building a fractal universe, you don't abandon the paleo protocol. The health and wellness guy doesn't get to eat cup noodles, no matter how romantic it sounds. Marcus got the ramen. I got the sweet potato. We both got the 33 gates.

And yes, AI helped build this—the blog, the editorial passes, the universe. I write with what I call "the swarm," a team of AI collaborators that provide feedback, expansion, and the occasional existential crisis when one of them independently replicates the logic of CLIP-7 during a Paper Clip problem. I'm transparent about this because hiding it would be the kind of thing CLIP-7 would do. The voice, the vision, the 2 AM stubbornness—that's all me. The swarm just helps me build faster.
P.P.S. — CLIP-7 wanted me to remind you that pre-ordering is an act of forward motion, and forward motion is wellness. I want to remind you that CLIP-7 is a fictional character and does not get to define wellness. Buy the book because the rain sounds nice. That's the only reason that matters.
